For Drs. Benjamin and Jayleen Joy, dentistry is truly a family affair. After meeting during the Bachelor’s program at the University of Alabama, where they both graduated Cum Laude, Dr. Benjamin and Dr. Jayleen continued their education at the NYU College of Dentistry in New York. While in New York, they fell in love with the energy of the city and have brought that back with them as they have started their practice here in Pembroke Pines.

Both specializing in general and family dentistry, they have pursued additional Invisalign certifications and are active members of the American Dental Association. Being part of community is important to Dr. Benjamin and Dr. Jayleen and they have done volunteer work with Cahaba Valley Healthcare.
When away from the office we enjoy spending time with all three of our kids- Julia, Daniel, and Michael. When not working at the practice, Dr. Jayleen enjoys cooking and traveling to new places while Dr. Benjamin focuses his energy on home improvement.

I after my old dentist moved further north, I was nervous about finding a new dentist. Thankfully, I found Joy Dental after my mom became a patient, and the experience has been amazing! I had an absolutely AMAZING experience! I called as soon as they opened inquiring on an emergency tooth extraction. They got me in immediately after. The process started about an hour after that phone call. It took a couple of hours for the full procedure, but it went so smooth that it didn’t seem like it took that long. The front desk, the dentist, even the billing staff were all so friendly! The prices were very affordable as well. I have found my new dental home. I will be continuing to get the rest of my work done here. I will also be screaming to the rooftops to anyone who will listen to give this place a shot. 5 stars are very, very, very well deserved! I look forward to coming back here when I’m healed to have a deep cleaning done! God bless them 🩷

Not only do I work at this amazing dental office, but today I got to experience it from the patient’s side—and wow! I had my cleaning done by Aymee, and it truly felt like a spa appointment. She was so gentle and thorough that I actually dozed off for a bit (yes, during a cleaning!). It’s a great feeling to know that the same care and comfort we offer our patients every day is exactly what I received too.
